整个Liberty City共有200只鸽子，鸽子任务就像III代的包裹，VC的瓶子，SA的涂鸦、牡蛎和马蹄铁一样是隐藏在城市角落里的物品，只是更小、更日常、更不容易察觉。纽约人估计不怎么喜欢鸽子，IV代中鸽子被称为flying rats，意思是会飞的老鼠。

每杀掉一只鸽子屏幕下方会显示还剩余多少只。按start键，选择Stats，翻到Score页最下方Pigeon Exterminated项目会显示已经杀掉多少只鸽子。

全部200只鸽子讨伐完成可以得到Annihilator灭绝者武装直升机(位置在时代广场MeTV大厦顶楼，遗憾的是没有传说中的火箭发射器)，同时有50点成就。如果你想达到100%完成度的话，鸽子任务也是必须要完成的。

杀鸽子的注意事项：

1. 所有的鸽子都会发红光，但是根据周围环境不同，时间不同，红光并不是很容易发现，夜里会相对明显一点。

2. 鸽子会发出声音，所以听到鸽子咕咕叫的声音说明周围一定有鸽子。

3. 只有用枪、手榴弹或者火箭筒才能消灭鸽子，小刀不行。开枪会引发警星，建议尽快撤离。

4. 开枪的时候建议不要用LT自动瞄准，因为通常鸽子所在的地方都有很多路人，容易锁定到路人上。推荐半按LT或RT，会出现准心，此时可以自由瞄准。

5. 建议你把地图用A3纸打印出来，杀掉一只鸽子就勾掉一个，否则很容易遗漏，或者严格按照攻略上的顺序杀。

6. 最后一点，杀鸽子的时候最好把手机的睡眠功能打开，这样朋友们不会来骚扰你，杀鸽子是不会自动保存的，所以记得及时存盘。或者不开睡眠功能，及时和朋友们出去hangout，这样活动结束以后会自动保存。

这只鸽子位置比较阴险，先到地图上，找到Candy&Grocery Store对面的轻轨入口，上去后在买票的平台上走到三个并排的买票机（一边是三个，一边是五个，所以不会搞错），鸽子就在买票机后面一点的楼梯顶上

026 - Located on the rooftop of the apartment building opposite Lynch Street station. To reach it, look for the arch over the road (Ellery St) that connects the station and apartment building rooftops - climb across this from the station side. You'll find the pigeon by the doorway near the water tower



继续靠Rockstar，这只鸽子在Lynch Street站旁边的楼的顶上，我觉得用直升机去可能更方便一点。如果你想像我一样用人力的话，到地图上位置你会看到这个楼和旁边的轻轨站是连在一起的，而且这个轻轨站外有两段斜坡。开一辆小车上斜坡，停在斜坡和站台的交界处，然后爬到车顶，跳上站台的屋顶（什么？你不知道怎么跳，罚你回家把这个攻略抄100遍，记得按X键，PS3版我想应该是方块），然后一路跳也好爬也好上到目标房子的屋顶，鸽子就在屋顶的水塔附近。累死我了。

机场外的收费亭，注意不是在顶上，而是在地面上的一个小柱子上，英文攻略写的太不清楚了。

029 - Inside a circular hollow of the main airport terminal building, adjacent to the entrance. To get a clear shot at it, use the stairs near the parking lot and get up to the platform of the train station that's opposite the terminal building. Cross the tracks and walk until you can get a clear shot with the sniper rifle



又是一只阴险的鸽子。位置是在图上机场大楼南侧的圆形洞洞里（丫的这鸟还真会躲），方法是从机场附近的轻轨站上去，走到铁轨上，用狙击枪狙掉。铁轨上注意不要被列车压死，可以来回走动一下找到一个好的角度。不知道在机场门口扔个手榴弹上去能不能够打掉，有兴趣的朋友可以试一试回来告诉我。另外请不要下铁轨，因为从这里可以直接到第31只鸽子。

030 - Land a helicopter on the top tier of the control tower. The pigeon is perched on the railing



机场指挥塔的最上面一个平台的栏杆上。需要用直升机。直升机可以到Algonquin南面的直升机观光点夺取。杀掉以后最好直接先去消灭第37只鸽子。

031 - Located on the rooftop between the two 'FlyUS' buildings. To access the rooftop, use the stairs from the airport terminal parking lot and get up to the platform of the train station that's opposite the terminal building. Follow the train tracks and jump on to the 'FlyUS' building rooftop. The pigeon is hiding between the air-con units on the flat roof



位置在飞机场北面的两幢flyUS大楼楼顶的中间。如果打完第29只鸽子你还在轻轨上的话，可以沿着轻轨一路跑过去，从轻轨上跳到楼上。同样也可以在打完第30只鸽子后开直升机过去。注意杀这只鸽子因为在机场，所有开枪后很容易四星通缉，用直升机的话比较容易逃掉，步行的话就看你的实力了。
