画面
游戏的画面非常漂亮。采用系列传统的色彩鲜艳的卡通风格，未来科幻气息浓厚的建筑物堆满了游戏的场景，各色奇特造型的生物和场景让玩家在游戏过程中目不暇接。同屏人数非常多，虽然偶尔在场景变化极大的时候有极少的掉帧现象，但完全不影响游戏的整体效果。系列传统作为金钱使用的螺丝在本作中的表现更是华丽，打碎箱子或敌人时，会有无数的闪着金属光泽的螺丝螺母向主角飞来，和其他游戏中的灵魂啊、光球之类同是飞舞着被主角吸收的壮观场面有着共同的气势，却别具一格的与主题完美配合在一起。

控制手感比较优秀，打击感到位，只是没有震动是小小的遗憾，在将来发售震动手柄之后……嘿嘿……
试玩版有4种副武器可以使用，其实副武器就是除了扳手之外的所有武器。按下△键游戏就会暂停，出现武器选择画面，此时方向键和左摇杆都可以选择相应位置的武器，L和R键可以翻页，但试玩版中武器数量只有一页……
可以使用的副武器为以下几种：核融合手榴弹、点燃器、摆荡器、多工器。下面我们就来一一介绍。

1.核融合手榴弹。就是普通的手雷。前方扔出大范围爆炸攻击判定，初期敌人基本一际必杀。

2.点燃器。发出带有火焰的子弹。其实就是普通的枪。可以自动瞄准角色前方的敌人。主视角可以精确瞄准。

3.摆荡器。本作新加入的武器，效果是让一定范围内的敌人跳舞。投掷一个弥虹灯彩球到前方空中，照射范围内的敌人会停止攻击跳着各具特色的搞笑舞蹈，此时可以任意蹂躏他们了。据之前的消息确定本作中每个敌人都有许多不同的舞姿，非常有趣。

4.多工器。照射一定范围内敌人，使他们变成企鹅。试玩版中的敌人被照射后都是变成一只可爱的企鹅，也许正式版中根据敌人种类的变化可能会变成其他东西（大期待！^_^）变成企鹅的敌人只可以在地图上晃来晃去，没有任何攻击力。（完全不理解这个译名……）

整体看新加入的武器不仅非常实用，而且表演性极强。只是武器的威力有些过于强大，只有依靠数量控制以及特殊敌人使用无效的限制才能保持游戏的挑战性吧。
主视角射击的模式下操作也非常灵活，可以自由的移动角色，当一款FPS游戏玩。
变更武器要按△，稍微有些不顺手。使用完特殊副武器之后，要换会最常使用的点燃器每次都要按下△后选择，而没有快截键是不大不小的遗憾。但既然系列历代作品都是如此，也不好强求什么^_^，适应了就好。

音乐音效
音效非常棒，因为没有震动，所以巨大的爆炸音效和砍击声是让人感觉到打击的快感的重要渠道。
音乐没有注意太多，全部精力都被精彩的画面吸引走了……

试玩流程部分感受
试玩版前半部分是华丽的战斗，后半部分以跑路为主题。战斗部分火暴程度自不用多说，跑路部分的游戏过程非常精彩，依靠PS3强大的机能，整个场景似乎都在变化，无数的敌人也在似乎无边庞大的场景内飞来爬去，在细长管子上滑行时，巨大的建筑物拦腰折断后完全坍塌，跑在长的桥上，身后的地面碎裂成巨大石块落入无底深渊，巨大的飞船机翼滑在隧道的墙壁上刮起层层碎石和尘土却紧追主角不放。

射击和砍杀
无数的敌人！完全数不清到底有多少敌人在场景里来回乱蹿。用各种武器虐杀从四面八方涌来的敌人吧……被打死的敌人有些会变成非常小的奇怪生物，也许是他们受到核辐射变异了，被打倒恢复了原形吧- -（纯猜测），可以控制角色跑过去把变回原形的一点儿也不可爱的生物踩死，在接触瞬间还会伴随着“啪哒”声，十分搞笑。

跳板
游戏中经常可见绿色的三角形跳板（紫色跳板为中转点，一般在绿色跳板弹起后的落脚点出现，不可控制，碰到后会自动跳起），站在上面按下×就会被高高弹起，速度感十足，看着快速远离的地面，飞行的快感满点（似乎有索尼克的感觉）。

管上滑行
历代都有的细长管道上滑行的动作在本作华丽的场景里更是爽快。不仅速度加快，敌人攻击使得管子断裂或管子上本身存在的障碍物要跳跃躲过。一气呵成的成就感配合场景的互动，原谅我这里仍旧用那个已经用烂的形容词……爽！

空中飞行
试玩版的最后部分，游戏所站的地面被完全炸毁，主角在空中落下。开始滑行。用PS3的六轴操作控制角色的行进方向躲避在空中穿梭的车辆。上挑为向前移动，下压为向后移动，左右倾斜为左右移动，控制起来非常灵活，但因为下落速度较慢，给人的感觉并如游戏的其他部分好，也许是关卡问题，在正式版中这个也许会有所改进。
